Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that kicks off the charitable and end-of-year giving season. It is also a great time to use ACH (commonly known as Electronic Funds Transfer or EFT) for charitable giving at your organization.
One strategy is to provide ACH as the default pay option to your donors, and ask if they would like to set up a recurring donation. ACH donors give more than double in a year ($1700 vs. $650) compared to those using paper checks, credit or debit cards, or other means.
Make seasonal donations last all year: Offer ACH. For more information on how ACH can benefit your organization, download a toolkit for nonprofits at ElectronicPayments.org/donor.
